About Maimouna

Unlocking a student's unique potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With one year of experience supporting elementary and middle school students in Math and English, I focus on building confidence rather than simple memorization. I assess your learning style by observing how you interact with new material and by maintaining open communication about what methods resonate most. When concepts become challenging, I bridge the gap by connecting lessons to your personal interests and celebrating every small success. I prioritize clear, consistent communication with both students and parents to foster a collaborative environment. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I am happy to meet you at your home, school, or a local library to get started. I truly look forward to helping you reach your academic goals and discover a genuine love for learning.
