About Maia

Hello! My name is Maia , I am a current full-time student earning my degree in Jazz Performance. I am originally from Miami, Florida. My hobbies include reading, bead jewelry, video games, cooking, & makeup. I grew up a Disney lover & can sing all the lyrics to just about every Disney princess movie. At age 12, I started as a teacher's aide for kids 0-5 at my church & would help with the kids every Sunday. By age 16, I was teaching the kids on my own, which led to me starting to babysit. While in my first 2 years of college, I babysat for my mom's friends and other families I'd been recommended to. I am currently a part-time nanny/sitter for a family of 3 in the Portage area (aged 16, 13, 10 + 2 cats). I have been working for them since October of 2025. The position does not have consistent hours, so I available for help with morning drop-off or afternoon pickup on the days I am not booked. I have done cat sitting/feeding. I am also available for any weekend nights.
