About Mahmoud

I'm a Master's student with a BS in Microbiology. For two years at Mathnasium, I taught 250+ K-12 students, building individualized lesson plans that targeted each student's learning gaps. I use Socratic questioning to build real understanding, so concepts click instead of feeling like a chore. I tutor math and science, from elementary math through Algebra II and high school/college biology, chemistry, and microbiology. As a Behavioral Technician, I worked one-on-one with kids ages 6-18, including kids with autism, adapting to each learner's pace and needs. I've led Hoops for Autism since 2020, so patience and structure come naturally. My focus is homework help, test prep, and study skills, with the goal of building confidence and independence. I'm punctual, communicate clearly, and send parents a quick progress update after every session.
