Hello! My name is Maeve! I'm from Massachusetts and just recently moved to dc. I love reading and history (I love having easy access to museums and national monuments). I love swimming, walking outside, and going on hikes! I started working with kids about 5 years ago for my town's YMCA programs with kids ages 2-11. Primarily, I worked with kindergarten and first grade aged students of all backgrounds and developmental paces. I pride myself on being proficient in creative problem solving, time management, and conflict resolution. I've worked in school and summer camp settings and subsequently have a million crafts and games in my back pocket. I have experience in food safety, poolside, and child developmental training. I love working with kids because I do truly think they are the brightest souls. I don't believe in the concept of a "bad kid", I think that all kids just need some love.
