About Mae

I have looked after children for eight years, from nannying to babysitting to respite care, I've done it all! I have over three years of experience caring for children with disabilities, mostly with Autism and Down Syndrome. I am also familiar with learning disabilities, such as ADHD and Dyslexia. I studied occupational therapy for a while, so I know how to apply games and play in a holistic and therapeutic manner to further occupational skills. That said, arts and crafts are my favorite way to entertain kids! Anything from making yarn pom-pom's to finger painting is all a recipe for a fun time! I have cared for multiple children before, upwards of five children. I love children of all ages and am comfortable with all ages.

I cannot say enough great things about Mae! She was with us for a little more than 6 months and took care of my boy from the age of 5 months! She taught him sign language! Helped with milestones! Constantly brought over library books to read to him! The only reason she is no longer with us is because we moved unexpectedly! We miss her so much!
