About Maria

Hi! My name is Maria, and I'm an energetic and creative 22-year-old. I am graduating from college this May with a history degree but have spent the past few years working in childcare and absolutely love it! My favorite age group is preschoolers, but I have experience with all ages. I'm looking for a full-time position, and my rates start at $18/hour. I have worked at an elementary school for two years as a recess supervisor and after-school care teacher. I have been a summer preschool teacher assistant for two years, supervised children ages one to five for a mom's group, and worked in a toddler classroom. I also have a minor in Human Development and Family. My focus is to give your child a creative and engaging space to learn and grow. I love being active and spending time outdoors as well as doing hands-on activities, pretend play, crafts, building, and reading. In my personal time, I love to hike, bike, read, and play percussion and harp. I look forward to meeting you!
