About Madison

Hello, I'm Maddie! I am moving back to LI in June and will be working with a family full time over the summer, but will go to part time in September when the kiddo goes to school. I will be with them 1-6 p.m. on weekdays and am looking for a morning position, possibly helping out before school. Here is a bit about my experience in childcare, please feel free to reach out with questions! I have been working with kids, ranging from newborn to 13 years old, for the past 8 years. From babysitting, to being a daycare teacher throughout college, to now working as a behavioral therapist for children with autism. I am a University at Buffalo graduate with a bachelors in both Psychology and Sociology. I currently work at Bierman Autism Centers in Indiana where I am a Registered Behavior Technician. I work on social skills, functional play, communication, fine/gross motor skills, and so much more on a daily basis. I do have a vehicle, am CPR certified and have received training in First Aid.
