While I have been babysitting in general since I was 12, for the last two years I was a paraeducator and bus driver at a K-8 school in Montana. I worked with kids all across the spectrum, particularly cognitive delay and autism, ages 7-14. My skills are in patience, in compassion, and in being flexible, creative, and open-minded. I have a passion for working with kiddos, so much in fact that I will be starting my BA for elementary and special education in October. Of course, being online and self-paced, it will not get in the way of the schedules of prospective childcare positions. I can also provide three professional references if preferred.
