I was a Special Ed para-Educator with CVSD for 7 years and am now a certified teacher in the district. I have spent 10 years learning about how to understand and care for children with disabilities. Most of my experience is with children on the Autism Spectrum. I understand basic ASL signs and using PECs for children who need assistance with verbal communication. I have administered insulin and Vitamin B shots and am comfortable with toileting.
