About Madina

I've been helping students with English (reading comprehension, vocabulary development, grammar, essay writing) and math (up to algebra 2) since middle school, mostly through volunteer and one-on-one tutoring. I've also worked in child care as my most recent job, so I've learned to understand what works for some students and what works for others. I know these subjects can feel overwhelming, so I focus on creating a comfortable, low-pressure environment where students feel safe asking questions and making mistakes. I take the time to understand how each student thinks and explain concepts in a way that clicks for them, not just the way it's taught in class. My goal is always to build confidence alongside understanding.
