About Madelyn

Hi! My name is Madelyn, and I have over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages, plus 2+ years in behavioral therapy supporting children with developmental differences and individualized learning needs. I specialize in helping early readers build strong foundational skills using a structured, phonics-based approach. I support children who are struggling by breaking reading into manageable steps, focusing on letter sounds, blending, and building confidence in a positive, engaging way. I'm especially passionate about helping children who feel frustrated or behind begin to make progress and enjoy learning. I offer tutoring, backup care, and evening/weekend support, and I'm happy to include a free initial reading assessment to better understand your child's needs.
