About Madeline

Hi! My name is Maddie and I'm a summer camp counselor with experience working with elementary-aged children. I also have a mathematics degree from Western Carolina University. I'm available this summer for evening/weekend babysitting and date nights in the Asheville/Haywood area. Happy to help with homework, crafts, bedtime routines, etc. References available! I'd describe my personality as warm, friendly, and understanding. I like working with kids because they think being a good role model is the coolest thing in the world. I'm looking for a job that lets me help families get all of their daily needs taken care of. I started working with kids during my time in college during the education program. In my spare time, I like to read, hike, and bike ride. One thing you should know about me is that I love getting creative with kids and encouraging their imagination. My skills include empathy, problem-solving, and explaining situations at an age appropriate level.
