About Madeline

Hi there! My name is Maddy and I have taught as a Special Education teacher for the last 3 years. I am licensed in Elementary Education but have taught and tutored kids from ages 10 to 18. I'm currently in a graduate program to earn my Special Education license and Master's degree in special education. I adore all aspects of teaching and learning with children, and have gained a special interest in working with students with mild to moderate disabilities. I love to see how every child absorbs and processes information differently, and enjoy coming up with creative ways to help them learn in ways that suit their needs. I have experience teaching ELA and Math to grades 5-8. I'm currently looking to tutor children aged 9-15 for the summer. I am open to hosting-I have a friendly small dog and equally friendly cat (both hypoallergenic). I'm hoping to work in 1-2 hour sessions, 3-4 times a week. Please message me if you're interested!
