I am currently in the process of being a certified speech language pathologist, I have completed observation 30 hours and over 100 hours providing direct clinical services for speech and language. This time was spent in public schools providing speech, language, and social services to students with an Individualized Education Plan. I have also been trained by Hillcrest Educational Centers in Autism services and spent over 4 months providing direct care to adolescents in a special education residential home. I have been trained in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention to learn how to return individuals to emotional and behavioral baselines in time of crisis or conflict. I also have been trained in implementing applied behavioral analysis techniques with children and adolescents.
