About Madeline

I'd describe my personality as upbeat, creative, open and loving. I like working with kids because I can connect to their sense of play and discovery, their silliness and curiosity. I come from a large family with a lot of children, and I just overall love being around kids. I'm looking for a job that has open communication, where both parties feel satisfied and supported by each other. I started working with kids when I was in high school, working as a lifeguard. Then I began babysitting in college. In my spare time, I like to exercise, go to the movies or see a play, write, practice guitar (just starting!), cook or hang out with friends. My skills include maintaining the flow of your home (household chores or upkeep) and child's schedule, helping with homework or activities that don't involve screens, understanding a child's temperament and working through conflicts.
