About Eleni

Hi! My name is Eleni, and I'm a native New Yorker with over a decade of experience working with children. I started as a mother's helper before moving into babysitting and have been nannying full time since graduating college five years ago. My experience includes infants through school aged children, working as a nanny, night nurse, and teacher. I take a hands on approach and genuinely love teaching children anything and everything! I'm passionate about early childhood development and finding everyday opportunities for little ones to learn. I'm constantly amazed by how much children absorb. My current nanny boy learned the avenues in his neighborhood, along with left and right, at just 2. 5 years old! I hold a Bachelor's degree in Community and Human Services from SUNY Empire State College, with coursework in child development. I also hold a Training in Infection Control certification and own a LifeVac, which I bring to jobs when requested.
