About Madeleine

Hello everyone! I have been a tutor since high school for various subjects (math, peer-editing, biology, physics) until college. I graduated from UC Davis with double majors: Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior B. S. and Psychology B. A. with a minor in Education! I enjoy helping you to break down hard concepts into simpler terms. I believe that students learn through examples so I often like to work through problems with students and guide them with solving by themselves. I often teach STEM classes (math, biology, physics, chemistry etc.) but I also have experience working with children with Autism and learning disabilities as well. There are many ways of teaching Math and I often try to find the best way to help the student understand the concept and apply them with problems. I see myself as an extra-aid to the students' academic success and not a replacement for their schools' teachers. I encourage students to come to me with questions to help with their difficulties!
