About Madeleine

I am an enthusiastic tutor with a master's degree in publishing and media from New York University. I also have an honors B. A in English & French. Empowering students to move beyond rote memorization toward a genuine love for learning drives my approach to education. I focus on building confidence through critical thinking and problem-solving. I assess unique learning styles by observing how students interact with new material, allowing me to tailor my methods--whether through visual aids, hands-on practice, or open discussion. When concepts feel challenging, I break them into manageable steps and connect the material to personal interests to maintain momentum. I prioritize clear, consistent communication with both students and parents to ensure we are always working toward academic goals. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a complex topic finally clicks. I look forward to helping students reach their full potential and celebrating academic success.
