About Madeleine

I enjoy working with kids who may experience difficulties due to diagnosis such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, as well as cognitive or developmental disorders. I am confident in my ability to be a caregiver who assists children throughout their day while encouraging appropriate play, communication, and alternative ways to express difficult emotion. I have worked with children for 8 years now within schools, at home. and in therapy sessions. Most of my experience is with children who have a variety of disabilities and need high amounts of individualized support. I am currently applying to earn my MS in psychology online while having a full time job. My skills include making children feel safe, always incorporating play and fun, as well being able to handle difficult behaviors such as verbal or physical aggression.
