About Lauren

I'm a mom to a bright and social butterfly 6-year-old daughter. We are hoping to find a family to share our summer (and beyond) with! Before becoming a mom I was the neighborhood nanny. I am Safe Sitter and CPR certified, and have experience caring for children with generalized anxieties, separation anxiety, and Sensory Processing Disorder. At present I am a stay at home mom. I have thoroughly enjoyed becoming my daughter's teacher during this time, and would love to continue to offer hands on and engaging activities, as well as the limited socialization our children would have with one another :) Whether you are working from home or preparing to go back, without the normal assistance of summer school or day care, I am here to support you and your kid(s) in any way that I can. I am a major fan of of sensory play, STEM based projects, and games and crafts that focus on gross and fine motor skills. I am also comfortable adapting one activity to a range of ages.
