About Maddy

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, reliable, and devoted. I love working with kids because it is such a rewarding experience! Watching them grow and being able to play a role in their development is something I am so grateful to be a part of. I'm looking for a job where I can build a trusting and respectful relationship amongst both the children and parents, where we can set up clear expectations and have open communication. I started working with kids when I was 16 years old. Since this time to now, I have had the privilege of watching a 2-year-old, a 1-year-old, and also a newborn. Although most of my time working has been with younger kids, I have experience with a variety of ages and understand the diverse needs of each age. In my spare time, I love to do anything creative, especially painting, as well as sewing. I also really enjoy going out into nature, talking walks, and playing softball! My skills include patience, engagement, and empathy.
