About Julia

Hi, my name is Julia! I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old, have teaching experience from children ages 1-13, and I have experience as an after school tutor. Growing up in a big family, I was always around kids of all ages. I used to watch my cousins every summer and my little brother (10 years younger). This eventually led me to pursue babysitting. As an educator, my experience is in Art, Music, and Nature. All of which I enjoy incorporating into my babysitting. I am comfortable taking care of more than 1 child and have even babysat up to 8 kids at a time. I prefer to meet families before I start so they can get to know me, I get to know them, and we can discuss expectations/rules/needs and wants. My approach to childcare is a mostly screen-free experience. I like to focus on outdoor play (when available), arts and crafts, imaginative play, games, and toys, board games and puzzles. However, I am not opposed to a movie night or video games if parents approve/preffer
