About Macy

Hello! My name is Macy, I'm 23 years old and I'm currently working toward a degree in Child Development. Right now I work at the Boys and Girls Club, but looking for a full time position! Through my time at the Boys and Girls Club I lead a group of around 25 energetic first graders each day. Through this role, I've developed strong skills in maintaining structure and routine while creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment. I have experience with children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens. I've previously worked for several families with multiple children and also cared for infants and toddlers-including my 8-month-old niece. I am CPR and First Aid certified and a very cautious, responsible driver. In past nanny roles, I've helped with morning routines, handled school drop-offs and pick-ups and meals for the children. One of my favorite things to do with kids is create fun and age-appropriate art projects that challenge their creativity and keep them engaged.
