About Macy

Hi, I'm Macy! I have 10+ years of experience caring for children ages 0-14 and am comfortable caring for up to four children. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from Iowa State University and am currently completing my Ed. S. in School Psychology at the University of Iowa. I also work part-time as a substitute teacher. My education and experience have given me a strong understanding of child development and learning. I'm CPR, First Aid, and Seizure First Aid trained, along with additional certifications and graduate coursework. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and can provide updates by text, phone, or at pickup. I enjoy crafts, board games, puzzles, educational activities, and swimming. I'm also happy to help with carpooling and tutoring. I would love to bring my experience and enthusiasm to your family!
