About Mackenzie

I'm a passionate and experienced caregiver with a desire to make a positive impact on children's lives. Working towards my masters in clinical social work, I've worked at child advocacy centers and a preschool, providing individual and group play therapy sessions. Patient, calm, creative, and imaginative, I have three years of experience caring for children, and I'm comfortable caring for multiple children at a time. I follow the parents' lead regarding household rules and their preferred communication method regarding their child's day or any issues that arise. With a background in early childhood education and psychology and coursework in early child development, I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I'm happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I'm excited to bring my skills and experience to your family, and I look forward to getting to know you and your child!
