About Amanda

I've dedicated the last seven years of my life to being a childcare provider because I feel a deep personal passion for fostering children's growth and development. I'm patient, calm, and creative, which are all qualities that serve me well as a caregiver. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and have no problem keeping up with active children. My skills and training include First Aid and CPR, as well as being a certified teacher with coursework in Early Childhood Education and Early Child Development. I'm willing to help with light housekeeping and cooking. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, from educational games that promote learning to outdoor sports and physical games. I also enjoy sensory play, dramatic play, building blocks, singing, and dancing. I'm comfortable caring for one child at a time and have experience working with children of all ages, from infants to preteens.
