About Mackenna

Hi! My name is MacKenna, and I recently moved to Illinois from Maine! I'm currently working toward my nursing degree and hope to connect with local families looking for a little extra support! I have several years of experience working with children of all ages and abilities, including special needs. Working with kids has always been something I genuinely enjoy, and I love getting to know each child's unique personality and interests. I'm a big believer in letting kids be kids! I encourage creativity, curiosity, and independence by giving children opportunities to explore, learn, and grow in a safe and supportive environment. Whether that means getting outside, trying something new, or simply enjoying everyday activities together, I strive to make each day fun and meaningful. I'm patient and deoendable, and I have my own car for reliable transportation. I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your children, and I would love to be someone your family can count on!
