About Macey

Hello! I'm Macey, a professional nanny interested in combining my childcare work with my passion for education to build experience as a Language Arts tutor. I have always been a lover of all things English (yes, even spelling and grammar!) and have excelled in those subjects since my own school days. In college, I double-minored in Dramatic Literature and Creative Writing, and now write as a hobby. I have worked as a nanny for six years, with previous experience with kids aged 6 - 13 as a camp counselor, YMCA guest instructor, and children's threatre director. I have loved helping infants and toddlers find their own paths to language/communication, and feel strongly that these paths extend into school experience, as kids learn to navigate the world. Every kid is unique, and I aim to provide the same guidance that helped me find my personal learning style and start loving learning! I would be honored to be considered to assist your little scholar, and look forward to hearing more!
