About Jennifer

I have been in academia for most of my adult life. In addition, I have many years of writing experience. In my work in graduate school, I have honed my analytical writing skills. During high school, I provided homework help and assistance to children who I babysat for. During my time at Cornell (B A. 2008), I worked with students as a tutor. I tutored middle school and high school students in both writing and social studies. During my time at Georgetown University, I have studied teacher and education policy, specifically focusing on what qualities make excellent public school teachers. I am passionate about learning and very patient. I am willing to work with students to develop ways of assisting them that works with, as opposed to against, their style of learning. I am currently taking adolescent psychology and I am in the process of applying for teaching fellowships and programs. I am well-versed in the different learning styles children and adolescents have and will work with your student to use their strengths to build a learning system that works for them! As additional qualifications, I was on the Deans List at Cornell, was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (an Honors society for college students), and scored a perfect score on the Writing Section of the SAT.
