About Macedonia

I am a native Spanish speaker from Peru with over 25 years of experience teaching and tutoring Spanish in the United States. I specialize in online tutoring for middle and high school students taking Spanish 1 through Spanish 4. I help students understand grammar and vocabulary, complete homework and school assignments, prepare for quizzes, tests, and the finals, and improve their reading, writing, conversation, and pronunciation skills. I tailor each lesson to the student's individual needs and to what they are currently learning in school. My teaching style is patient, structured, and encouraging. I explain difficult concepts step by step and provide additional practice when needed. My goal is to help students truly understand Spanish, improve their grades, and feel more confident and successful in their Spanish classes.
