I am an outgoing person who is compassionate about helping others that are in need or just need companionship. I have been a caregiver for my mother for 4 years. While my mother is no longer active, I advocate for her to make sure she is comfortable in her environment. My compassion extends into my volunteer work as a victims advocate for the Police Department (4 years), where my primary role was providing emotional support to victims and to ensure their safety and concerns. In addition, I also volunteer as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate). I listen and respond to the needs/wants/desires of the children I advocate for, to ensure their voices are heard (3 years).
