About Lynndsey

I have been working with kids for over 20 years. I have a deep love for children. I started babysitting at the age of 12, taking every safe sitter and CPR class that I could. I began to tutor elementary school age students in high school. I pursued a degree in Elementary Education at PU. During this time I continued to tutor elementary students. I also had a job at a child care center for 4 years. After graduating, I worked as a Children's Minister. We started a free preschool at the church. I taught and directed the program for over 6 years. For the last 3 years I have been babysitting and running an in-home childcare. I have two children 5 and almost 2. In my in home childcare, I focus on safety, security, a small home environment, and learning. We conduct learning activities. We prepare children with life skills such as listening, sharing, potty training, helping to clean up, kindness. I also focus on learning through hands on activities and crafts.
