Hi! I've been with Care. Com three years. In that time, I've cared for several babies and children part time, as a fill-in, occasional or date night sitting. My background includes childcare, both personally and professionally, for years. I am told I am like another grandma for the children I care for. Caring for children is truly a vocation for me. I am Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certified. Have an clean driving record and background check. I'm also very competent and comfortable with children with a variety of Special Needs, as my son has Autism, DD, and MI. He now lives in a group home for more independence. Safety, nurturing, providing enrichment, and following parents wishes are my goals for each child. My style is mainly based on Play Therapy. I'm told I am personable, engaging, and form close connections with children and parents. I have a college degree and do not smoke. I enjoy most pets.
