I specialize in working with underperforming students with emotional or spectrum issues. (I also am on the spectrum but when I was a child autism was totally unknown. Therefore, I was forced to create my own strategies for coping successfully with life, and I enjoy sharing them.) These resulted in Bachelor and Master's degrees, and a marriage which as of now has passed its 44th anniversary. The greatest barrier students faces which prevents academic success is disbelief in their ability to learn. Believe you're a failure, and you will fail. I turned 84 in 2026; this means that I have learned how to successfully overcome failure. If I can only teach your student this, then we will have already succeeded.
