About Lyndsi

I have history working as a behavioral therapist for children ages 2-10 with Autism Spectrum Disorder, a teacher's assistant at a preschool, and an occasional babysitter. I believe in child-led play and fostering children's creativity, self-advocacy, and self-direction. I'm passionate about treating children with grace and patience as they develop their communication and daily living skills. I'd describe my personality as trustworthy, patient, and kind. I like working with kids because I love helping support them through their development. So much of their daily experiences are new and you either get to experience the excitement and joy of change with them or help them process the discomfort of things not being exactly what they expect. Children are so naturally passionate and creative and I like to be someone they can trust to explore their ideas and interests with.
