About Sonya

Hello, my name is Ms. Sonya. I have been working with children for the last 9 years. The youngest being 1 and the oldest being 12. I also have experience working with children with disabilities, both high and low support needs. I have my associates in early childhood development, my bachelors in child and adolescent development, and a teaching credential in special education. I love working with children because I enjoy providing experiences that give them opportunities to grow. I'm a big advocate in children developing the developmental domains (cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language). I hope to work with you soon. I'd describe my personality as passionate, hardworking, and caring. I like working with kids because I love providing opportunities in a safe and supporting environment that encourages their growth. I started working with kids when I was 19 or 9 years ago. In my spare time, I like to watch TV with my two cats, Gunter and Ninja
