About Lyd

Hello! I'm Lyd! I'm a junior at UW-L studying psychology. I have around 8 years of experience babysitting. I have completed Gundersen's Safe Sitter Course and a lifespan development course during my studies. I have most experience with toddlers and early elementary aged kiddos. I like working with kids because their creativity isn't held back! They have such interesting insights and perspectives on the world and they are fun to be around. I started working with kids when I was 11-year-olds. I started babysitting my neighbors' kids. Through word of mouth and some homemade business cards, I started babysitting more families in the community. In my spare time, I like to read, be outdoors, spend time with my friends, family, and pets, and do any sort of art! One thing you should know about me is I love incorporating my education into my work! I have studied developmental psychology and I know where kids are coming from. My skills include conflict resolution, bedtime, and having fun!
