About Maren

Hello, my name is Maren. Pronounced like Karen with a M. I have 5+ years of experience working with children with disabilities. I have ample experience working to keep kids engaged in life skills to help reach developmental milestones, making learning fun, and helping evolve children's independence. I am able to commute and am willing to negotiate hours, pay, and duties. I'd describe my personality as personable, humorous, understanding and hardworking. I started working with kids when I was 16 years old. I started by working at a trampoline park/arcade. During my summer breaks, I would spend time nannying, and staying with the family. I would watch two boys during the week and during the weekends babysit for family and friends. At 19, I started to work at a level 5 facility in La Crosse that serves about 40 kids. I was a House Manager and was responsible for 30+ staff, 6 leaders, hundreds of kids in my time there. I worked there for almost 5 years!
