Hi! I'm Lydia. I'm currently a nanny for a 1-year-old (and occasionally their 4-year-old sibling), and the family is transitioning to daycare. I love supporting little ones as they learn, explore, and grow, and I enjoy bringing both creativity and structure into their routine. I have experience with a wide range of ages and settings: babysitting, tutoring math and English, volunteering with theatre and church camps, working in daycare (especially in the infant and 1-year-old rooms), and assisting in a preschool classroom with crafts, small groups, and general support. As a nanny, I've cared for children in both a nanny share with two infants and in a single-family setting as the babies got older. I have taken child development classes and love to incorporate age approraite milestone work as well as imaginative and outside play. I'm also CPR and First Aid certified. Lydia was the nanny for my grandchild. She was skilled at handling the baby and also on occasion a pre-schooler. Lydia showed great care and concern for the wellbeing of the children and also for their development, mentally and physically. I was around her when she was on duty sometimes, and the two of us took care of my two grandkids together once. Highly recommend.
