About Lydia

My name is Lydia. Caring for young children is one of my greatest joys. I have several years of experience working with children ages 0-11 because I was on staff in Childcare at my church for 2 years, and have spent many hours babysitting. I am patient, friendly, and dedicated to making a positive impact on lives of children. I value the importance and beauty of childhood, and celebrate the many milestones that children experience. I am comfortable caring for up to four children. I enjoy engaging children in age-appropriate activities. I'm also happy to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, and travel. I communicate openly with parents, following their preferred method, and I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I hold current First Aid Training and CPR Training certifications. Ultimately, I hope to bring my heart for caring for children into your home and become a trusted caregiver for your family.
