About Lydia

I'd describe my personality as trustworthy, giver, loyal. I like caring for seniors because I saw what it was like when my father had a stroke and had to recover in a nursing home. I'm not saying all nursing homes are bad. I promised to give a more personalized care to my love ones because I felt that was the least they deserve especially when my mother developed Alzheimer's. I started caring for seniors when I was younger I worked in a nursing home for a short period of time, but once my father had a stroke 10 years ago and I had to become the sole caretaker for my mother. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family. I have very active grandkids that keep me going all the time with sports and activities. One thing you should know about me is I love sports; football, basketball, track and field. And believe it or not, I love horses. My skills include laugh a lot, just enjoy the day, take a deep breath as much as you can to exhale the pain and stress away!
