About Lydia

Hi! I'm Lydia and I've been working with kids since I was a teenager. I'd describe myself as patient, creative, and dependable. I graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in Early Childhood Education and taught 2nd and 3rd grade for three years. Before teaching, I spent summers nannying for a wonderful family with two children and also worked as a lifeguard in high school. I'm looking for a full-time nanny role with one family or part-time work with one or two families during the week, with occasional weekends. I love cooking, baking, crafts, reading, and spending time outdoors. I also adore my dog and my nieces and nephews who I care for often. My top childcare skills are communication, patience, and creativity. I have a reliable car that fits car seats, can renew my CPR certification if needed, and truly love helping kids grow in confidence, kindness, and imagination every single day.
