About Lydia

My name is Lydia and l am a young professional working full time on Capitol Hill! I have extensive experience with children from infants to middle school aged-children. For a period of 6 months, I was a full-time nanny for a mother with an infant and 2 toddlers. I believe that it is important for caretakers to be as mindful about the way they treat and speak to children as their parents might be, since children absorb so much from the world and people around them. As a caretaker, I seek not only to ensure the safety and happiness of your child but also to serve as a good example for children and someone they like to spend time with. Additionally, I have a reliable car so I am able to get to and from your home with ease. I am fluent in French. If you are looking for someone to tutor your child in French or simply expose them to the language, I am happy to do that. I am also a huge animal lover and grew up with 3 dogs in the house and currently own 2 cats!
