My name is Di and I am a fully credentialed early childhood practitioner with close to 5 years of professional experience in centre based childcare. Currently I am the Lead Teacher in a 3-year-old classroom and I hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. I am also working towards achieving my Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education from North Seattle College. I am able to create running records that are a great tool for monitoring your child's development. Outside of my work I am an avid artist and lover of all animals. I enjoy bringing my love of hands-on creativity to the children I work with through sensory play, art, and nature exploration. Although I don't currently own a vehicle, I enjoy taking advantage of Seattle's beautiful walk-able neighborhoods. I enjoy taking the children I'm caring for on walks, to local parks, to the library and providing in-home activities to engage, educate and have fun with the children.

My six year old daughter has autism and requires some extra help with most daily activities. Lydia was so gentle and patient with her throughout everything. It was exactly what we needed. My husband and I will definitely be having her back!
