With 5+ years of experience tutoring and a recent Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree from Pepperdine University, I am equipped to offer high quality instruction. I have tutored students in math from elementary up to college level calculus and differential equations. Having undergone a tutoring program myself as an elementary age student, I understand the value and confidence that one on one instruction provides, and I am passionate about instilling that confidence in students. While math is my strong suit, I also have tutoring experience in English, Science, and music. I play guitar and ukulele, and I am happy to provide beginner-level instruction or music theory as well.

My family cannot say enough amazing things about Lydia and how she has helped my 9 year old daughter excel in math ! My daughter was a very stressed out quiet girl who dreaded homework and struggled throughout most of her 2nd grade year. When Lydia started working with her weekly, her confidence started to soar and her math grades improved tremendously. So much , that her teacher even told us she noticed the difference (this year as a 3rd grader) and was very impressed. Lydia is calm and warm, she makes learning fun, and she has all the tricks and tips to help young ones grasp learning styles that are specific to them. We look forward to another great year of tutoring as we enter 4th grade.
