About Lydia

Hi! My name is Lydia and I am very passionate about working with children. I believe that we learn just as much from children as they learn from us. I have worked in the childcare and teaching profession for 5 years now and have been babysitting for 10. I have experience working with special needs children in center, home and school-based settings and love to work with children of all ages. I have worked with children aged 5 months - 16 years old. I am currently a speech therapy assistant at an elementary school and am looking for work for the summer. I love to get outside and be active and believe that children should be encouraged to play and be creative I also am a certified swim instructor and can teach younger children how to swim! In my free time I enjoy reading, hiking, painting and playing with my pets! Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have!
