About Ava

Working with kids has always been important to my life, whether it's in a classroom setting, babysitting, or ski instructing. I have many years of experience caring for children aged 3-12 and I am comfortable with up to four or five children. My approach is inspired by play-based learning and I enjoy all kinds of activities with kids. I graduated from the University of Denver where I worked at a local elementary school for 4 years, and gained First Aid/CPR Training through that position. Currently, I'm a supervisor at Breckenridge Ski and Snowboard school where we get days up to 300+ kids! I communicate with parents using their preferred method, whether that's verbal updates or texts, and I always follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules. I would love to bring my energy and experience to your family and create a safe and happy environment for your children.
