About Lydia

Hi, I'm Lydia! I am a full spectrum-trained, postpartum-focused doula serving the DMV area. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based support to help families feel confident, rested, and cared for during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum transition. My postpartum work includes: - Assistance with emotional and physical recovery support - Assistance with newborn care or care for other children in the home - Newborn care education including feeding and sleep guidance, and assistance with navigating additional resources - Assistance with household management including meal prep, laundry, light cleaning, and others. CPR certified, experienced with newborns - toddlers, and supporting parents during the postpartum period.
