About Lusylvia

Hello! My name is Lusylvia, and I am a senior at North Carolina A&T State University majoring in Psychology. My love for children and their development inspired me to pursue this field. I believe every child deserves to feel safe, loved, supported, and understood. Children thrive when they receive patience, encouragement, and care that helps them build confidence and reach their full potential. I previously taught mathematics to students needing extra support at Sugar Creek Charter School, where I impacted not only their academic growth but also their self-confidence and belief in themselves. This experience strengthened my passion for helping children recognize their worth and abilities. As a caregiver, I hope to provide a nurturing environment where children feel valued, supported, and free to grow. To me, childcare is more than meeting basic needs; it is about making a meaningful difference in a child's life through compassion, patience, and genuine care.
