About Lulu

Hello! My name is Lulu. I come from a huge family and have always loved hanging out and caring for my younger cousins. I am a paraprofessional in an elementary school and am planning on going into MFT. Nannying would be a great way for me to exercise my skills in empathy, communication and creativity. Working with kids keeps me on my toes and pushes me to maintain childlike curiosity. I'd describe my personality as calm, thoughtful and positive. I started working with kids when I was in high school, as a TA , then went on to work as a camp counselor, coach, behavior technician, and now a para. In my spare time, I like to read, crochet, play the ukulele, play volleyball, hike and watch my comfort TV shows and movies. One thing you should know about me is that I take my work with children very seriously. Childhood is an influential time in one's life. I am passionate about making sure the kids I care for are safe, and that they also feel understood and free to enjoy their childhood.
